FAQs
What is the Dress code?
We’d love to have our loved ones get dressed up for our big day. Dresscode is all black semi-formal attire! The more feminine dressers can wear floor-length, tea-length and midi formal dresses + we love a cute jumpsuit. The more masculine dressers can wear black based suits with white undershirts, or if you are going without a suit jacket a black shirt. Here is a random Pinterest board for inspiration (https://www.pinterest.com/ideas/semi-formal-all-black/908225213083/ ). No jeans please! Sneakers are allowed, but not required.
What happens if I do not RSVP in time?
Unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate you if you RSVP late. We will need to provide our vendors and the venue exact guest count by a certain time.
Are we registered anywhere?
We are currently registered at Amazon, you can find the link on our registry page. And of course gift cards and cash are always accepted.
Are kids welcome?
Tyler and Amareya love the kids! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of kids that are apart of the wedding.
Can I bring a date?
We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. if you received a plus one they will be listed on the envelope for your wedding invite. Please respect our wishes as we are trying to keep our wedding an intimate celebration. Thank you so much for understanding.
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Please arrive at the venue no later than 15 minutes before the ceremony (5:15pm); you can arrive as early as 5pm. This will allow you time to park, sign the guest book and find your seat. If you arrive after the start of the ceremony at 5:30pm, you will not be seated and will have to wait until the start of the cocktail hour to enter.
Can I take pictures?
We are having an “unplugged ceremony” (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say “I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony feel free to take as many photos and videos as you’d like.
